The project
Real-time, end to end.
Whistlers is a self-directed horror short. It was made without a crew, which meant every part of it — the environment, the lighting, the camera work, the cut — had to be solved by one person inside a real-time pipeline.
The set was prepared in Blender and assembled in Unreal, lit in engine and shot in Sequencer. The film went through repeated full-length drafts rather than a single pass; the archive holds eleven of them alongside the final.
A finished five-minute film at 1080p, plus a companion BMX piece cut from the same production. Both are on this site in full.
